Shocking development as IPP chief Tareen quits politics


The patron-in-chief of the Istehkam-i-Pakistan party Jahangir Khan Tareen resigned as party leader and decided to retire from politics altogether.
“I want to thank everyone who supported me in this election and I want to congratulate my opponents,” said Tareen in a message to X.”I have the greatest respect for the will of the people of Pakistan,” he said said, thanking all IPP members.
