Marriyum Aurangzeb says that so far no candidate has reached the post of prime minister

PML-N leader Marriyum Aurangzeb said his party has not finalized the prime ministerial candidate so far, adding that communication with “coalition partners” is ongoing and it will be decided after consulting them.

Speaking to Geo News, Aurangzeb said that the video message released by party chief Khawaja Asif was his personal opinion and did not reflect the views of the party.Although he did not specifically mention which video message he was referring to, Asif told Samaa TV that Nawaz Sharif is not PML-N candidate’s prime minister but his brother Shehbaz is the party’s choice.

“Even he said at the end of his video that talks are still going on with the coalition partners,” Aurangzeb said. He also denied rumors about the supposed power-sharing formula, saying an agreement had been reached in principle to move forward together..
